David and the Slow Ride Team kicked off their weekend at Sharon Speedway on May 31 for the IRS event. David was in a heat race that was equal to a dash at any other event and finished 6th. Transferring out of the B Main, the #3 Rocket started 20th on the grid. David quickly began picking off cars at the drop of the green and ended up 5th at the end of the 50 lap race.
Sunday June 1 saw the team head to Eriez Speedway. David won his heat and redrew 6th for the feature. The tires were a little too soft as David settled for a 3rd place finish wrapping up a successful weekend.

David and the Slow Ride Team had an up and down weekend that started off at Raceway 7 for the IRS event. David was fast as usual but got hung up with slower cars missing a transfer spot in his heat and B-Main.
The team headed to Stateline for the "Double Nickels" paying $5k to win each. David won the first feature from 4th and was looking to sweep the night. Once again David encountered a lapped car who was spinning in front of the #3, resulting in David hitting the wall ending his night.
Sunday, the crew returned to Little Valley where David was fast out of the trailer. After going to the tail from missing a spinning car, Slow Ride moved up to 5th at the finish.
Next up for the DMR/Slow Ride Team will be the IRS Series races at Hilltop on Friday, May 30th and Saturday at Sharon. |

David and crew were planning on competing at Raceway & for the "Spring into Fall Classic" postponed from last season, but it was once again delayed due to rain. So, the team headed to Lernerville where they were very fast in the heat race. Unfortunately, contact from a driver under caution resulted in heavy rear suspension damage ending the SlowRide #3's evening with a 28ths place finish at the pay window.
Not wanting to end the weekend on that dismal note, the crew got the car ready and were off to Eriez Speedway for their opener. Once again, David was fast all night and started off by winning his heat race and was set to start 4th in the feature. The feature itself was a caution filled event that took over an hour to complete. David not only survived, but he finished an impressive 2nd.

The #3 ran up front all night before finishing 4th at the line.

The Dan Moore Racing/Slow Ride #3 headed to Hilltop Speedway for the $6,000 to win IRS even on Friday the 18th. David and team just was not able to get the car to work on the track as they failed to transfer from the heat and B-Main.
After a disappointing trip to Ohio, the crew was ready for Challenger. An announcement that the race was postponed a week gives the team a chance to regroup and return to their winning ways.

David Scott and the Dan Moore Racing/Slow Ride Team kicked off a busy week starting Tuesday night at Lernerville Speedway for the "Showdown at Sarvertown" World of Outlaws event. David qualified the #3 in 26th postion which set him back in the heat race grid.
Perhaps David was setting himself up for a challenge as he passed several cars on the inital start and was already in a transfer spot before half a lap was complete. A caution negated that start, but SlowRide got another great start on the ensuing restart and was right back in 4th position. David made his way up to 3rd by the halfway mark and decided to play defense on his transfer spot. Although the DMR #3 finished 4th at the line, the plan worked as David and the Slow Ride Team got to watch the B-Mains from the stands.
David lined up 14th on the feature starting grid for the 50 lap event. The great starts continued for SlowRide as he was up to 8th and looking to advance even further into the top 10. While attempting to pass a car from the high side, David's car jumped the cusion and lost momentum giving up several spots in the process. During a caution a few laps later, David decided to bring the car to the pits in one piece and "lived to race another day" resulting in a 23rd position finish.
